Question by Pickle Suprise!: How do we honor our FAKE war heroes?
These men of (dis)honor have read books about combat and war, spent a couple hundred dollars or less on their uniforms, ribbons and medals and told some very interesting stories,
Put their necks out on the line facing embarassment, fines and jail/prison time.
don’t they deserve something?
I am talking about those people like Jesse Macbeth. I posted about this HERO on my 360 page.

How about a hollow memorial, instead of one of solid marble?

War Heroes: True Stories of Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients

The Congressional Medal of Honor is the highest award given to American servicemen for valor in battle. Only slightly more than 200 recipients of the Medal of Honor are alive today. In this extraordinary book, 15 recipients tell the stories of the actions for which they received their awards. Heroes from the Marines, the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force recount their stories of action in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Together, their stories present a definition of heroism in battle. Kid, you are about the 1,000th kid to come here and ask this question. We know what the real motive is here. OK…your essay is for contest where you could win up to $ 10,000.00. Hope your intentions are not here asking for what amounts to us doing the essay for you.

See Patriot’s Pen essay contest at:

http://www.vfw.org/index.cfm?fa=cmty.lev…

This contest is about what YOU feel in honoring military heros…not about what we feel. If you can’t come up with reasons on your own, then you don’t deserve to win the contest.

Ugh, I can’t wait until this Patriot’s Pen contest is over. Am tired of seeing this question posted every freakin day.
